01 — WHY A MICROCEMENT FLOOR
Fewer joints, fewer places for a floor to show its age.
Tiled floors fail at the grout line — microcement doesn't have one. It's trowel-applied as a single membrane that bonds to tiles, screed, plywood or plasterboard, so most projects skip demolition entirely.
No joints, no grout
One continuous surface from the hallway into the kitchen — nothing to discolour, scrub or regrout.
Bonds over what's there
Goes down over sound existing tiles or screed in most cases — shorter programme, less mess, less cost.
Underfloor-heating ready
A thin, dense build-up conducts heat efficiently, so it performs properly over UFH in kitchens and extensions.
Textured or smooth
Specified with an anti-slip texture for kitchens and thresholds, or glass-smooth for living spaces.
