01 — WHY MICROCEMENT
One seamless surface, from the hallway to the wet room.
Microcement is a 2–3mm trowel-applied finish that bonds to almost any sound substrate — existing tiles, screed, plasterboard — so most projects skip the rip-out entirely.
No joints, no grout
One continuous surface across floors, walls, stairs and shower trays. Nothing to discolour or scrub.
Underfloor-heating ready
Thin build-up conducts heat efficiently — ideal over UFH in kitchens and open-plan extensions.
Fully waterproof systems
Tanked wet rooms, showers and basins in one grout-free material — sealed and guaranteed.
Applied over what's there
Bonds over existing tiles and screed — less demolition, less mess, shorter programme.

Every job is priced individually — there isn't a single rate that fits every room. What drives the price is area size, the condition of your existing substrate, how much preparation and repair it needs, whether it's a wet area or a dry one, the number of coats, the finish and colour, sealing, and site access. The survey is free, so you'll have a fixed, written quote tailored to your project before committing to anything.
Usually, yes. Microcement bonds to sound tiles, screed, plywood and plasterboard, so most projects skip demolition entirely. We confirm substrate suitability at the free survey.
A typical kitchen floor takes 4–6 working days including curing between coats. Wet rooms usually take 5–7 days. You’ll get a day-by-day programme with your quote.
Yes — for wet areas we install a tanked, fully waterproof system with a marine-grade sealer, covered by the same 2-year product warranty as our floors.
Installed correctly over a stable substrate, microcement is highly durable. We use flexible base coats and a two-part polyurethane sealer that resists staining — and our 2-year product warranty covers the installation.
